Editorial Fashion is my passion, I have always loved to create dynamic and striking images where my imagination can run free and there are no limits.
Fashion Photography is constantly changing and evolving along with current fashion trends but there are a handful of outstanding fashion photographer whose style stands the test of time.
One of my ultimate favourite Fashion Photographers is Richard Avedon, he is best known for his minimalist portraits and his revolutionary work within the Fashion world.
Born in New York in the early 20's, Richard was born into a fashion family as his Mother came from a dress manufacturer family and his fashion owned a fashion store called Avedon's Fifth Avenue.
From his his minimalistic portrait style he developed his own fashion photography style and worked for Harpers Bazaar and Vogue for decades. He demanded his models convey true emotion and brought movement to the images which was a style rarely seen at this time.
A more recent favourite fashion photographer is Giampaolo Sgura, his ad campaigns for Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Roberto Cavalli, and Gucci are some of the sexiest in fashion photography.
He has a cinematic style which I love and also like to bring to my own work.
I love natural light and continuous light equally, but how I use to depends on the look and feel of the final vision I have for an image. I love my images to look like they could be a still from a film.
